In my counseling practice, I meet people who have experienced a deep life loss. What hurts them the most is losing their place in another person's life. Adults and children who suddenly became insignificant to the important people in their lives. Someone or something deprived them of importance, of necessity. They lost their  eigenvalue. An important person in their life chose something or someone else instead of them.
To be vulnerable, unknown to be weak. The greatest strength is not synonymous with struggle, but the ability to sometimes accept things as they are, to stand up for ourselves, even if we don't like it. Strength is being able to talk about our feelings, what we are afraid of, what hurts us and what we are afraid of.
